The 1952 Pegaso Z-102 Spider Tibidabo Prototype, built by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, was the first collaboration between the renowned Italian coachbuilder and the Spanish automaker Pegaso. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1952, the car featured a distinctive, heavily stylized windshield, reportedly inspired by Salvador Dalí’s iconic moustache. However, this radical design was later replaced with a more conventional windshield. Despite its striking looks, the Spider Tibidabo remained a one-off prototype. The car’s name references Tibidabo, a scenic hilltop amusement park overlooking Barcelona, reinforcing its Spanish heritage.
