The 1989 Pegaso SOLO 500 Concept Truck was a futuristic design study by Spanish truck manufacturer Pegaso, created by designer Francisco Podadera. While Pegaso was briefly known for its sports cars, its core business was in trucks and buses, where it had a strong presence. The SOLO 500 showcased advanced aerodynamics and a modern cab-forward design, reflecting forward-thinking ideas in long-haul transport. Despite its striking appearance, it remained a concept and never entered production. In 1994, Pegaso was acquired by Iveco, marking the end of the brand as an independent truck maker.
