The 1996 Turin show will be remembered as the year of the Fiat Bravo and Brava. Among 25 concept cars debuting at the show, 17 are based on the new Fiat models. Of the 17, ten are 'official' - sponsored by Fiat and displayed as a group - and seven are 'unofficial.' The 'official' section includes five coupes, two compact minivans, a four-door pick-up, a recreational vehicle, and a special taxi.
Pininfarina has made two interpretations of its Brava-based concept: in the particular display area, there will be Song, a minivan in a 4WD sport utility guise, while in its stand, Pininfarina will have Sing, the same basic concept, but in a 2WD version. Sing and Song have a length midway between Bravo and Brava, 4.095 meters, and can house six people in two rows of three seats each.
