The focus of the Peter Turbo concept car was centered on a sleek line running from the hood to the exterior mirror, window sill, and rear spoiler. Presented initially as a mock-up at the Moscow Motor Show, it lacked doors and an interior, serving as a visual representation by the designers at STC AvtoVAZ, led by Sergei Sinelnikov.
This large single-volume car prioritized aerodynamics, featuring a slightly concave roof—an intriguing departure from the conventional convex design. While the initial showcase lacked doors and an interior, subsequent appearances at the Paris Motor Show revealed windows and interior elements, though the doors remained non-functional, existing only as illustrations.
Noteworthy is the absence of a traditional front panel in the cabin. Instead, a distinctive wavy cross member, reminiscent of a soaring seagull, takes center stage, housing the steering column and center console. Despite drawing acclaim from leading designers worldwide for its stylish and innovative design, the Peter Turbo concept did not progress further in terms of production or development.
