The 2004 DC Design GO is the third prototype in a series created by DC Design, following the successful reception of the DC Infidel and DC Gaia. Built on the Noble M12 GTR 3 chassis, the GO combines a modern, sharp-edged aesthetic with classic sports car design elements, demonstrating DC Design’s growing expertise in custom, high-performance vehicles. The GO’s exterior features a sleek profile with dynamic lines, while its minimalist interior is dressed in sporty Alcantara for a high-end, racing-inspired feel.
The GO’s construction follows the sports car tradition of a tubular frame with body panels that could vary from metal to FRP or carbon fiber, based on desired performance and pricing. Its powertrain includes a mid-mounted Ford Alloy V6 engine with twin Garrett T25 turbochargers, delivering 310 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. This setup enables a top speed of approximately 165 mph and 0-60 mph acceleration in about 4.1 seconds.
The DC GO also boasts high-performance components like cross-drilled, vented disc brakes with AP Racing calipers and a suspension system with Bilstein dampers. These elements reflect DC Design’s commitment to integrating advanced engineering and distinctive aesthetics into a cohesive sports car concept, further establishing the company’s position as an emerging player in automotive design.
