2024 Cadillac Sollei Concept

The 2024 Cadillac Sollei Concept is an ultra-luxury convertible designed to showcase the future of bespoke vehicle commissions for the brand. Based on the Cadillac Celestiq, this concept represents Cadillac's vision of personalized, high-end electric vehicles, blending cutting-edge technology with classic luxury. The Sollei features a sleek, low, and elongated body with a wide stance, reminiscent of Cadillac's bold proportions. Its exterior is finished in "Manila Cream," a color originally used by Cadillac in the late 1950s, highlighting the brand's heritage. The design emphasizes clean, uninterrupted surfaces and sophisticated lines, enhanced by details like discrete door handle buttons.

Inside, the Sollei offers an exquisite and artistic environment. The design philosophy focuses on the "art of travel," with features like a fully integrated beverage chiller, crystal glasses, and luxurious materials. The interior decor includes unstained wood veneers, open-pore finishes, and hand-cut marquetry, providing a tactile and visual feast. The craftsmanship is evident in every detail, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The Sollei incorporates Cadillac's signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar screen and a unique lighting system with 126 color options per zone, allowing for personalized ambient lighting. The use of Fine Mycelium™ by MycoWorks, a bio-based material, marks a new era of sustainable luxury materials. This material, used in various parts of the interior, reflects Cadillac's mission to pioneer renewable automotive resources.

The concept's metallic fabric roof, named "Daybreak," can retract to let sunlight flood the interior. The interior features elements like sunburst-themed patterns, a pink iridescent pigment on leather, and an "Aurora" tint on metal finishes, creating a celestial and optimistic atmosphere. Special touches include a unique accessory for bird-watching enthusiasts, featuring a custom case with bird calls, a journal with hand-painted illustrations, and a tool roll for writing instruments, all matching the vehicle's interior.

The Cadillac Sollei Concept was unveiled at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a facility dedicated to providing a personalized design experience for Cadillac's CELESTIQ clients. This concept emphasizes Cadillac's commitment to offering exclusive, tailor-made vehicles that blend modern design with classic elegance. It represents a forward-looking exploration of bespoke luxury, demonstrating the brand's dedication to creating unique, custom experiences for its clientele.
