The 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue OSV (Oldsmobile Special Vehicle) Concept was a notable endeavor by Oldsmobile to infuse a performance-oriented edge into its lineup during the brand's final years. Unveiled at the SEMA Show in the fall of 1999, the OSV version of the Intrigue sedan showcased a distinctive appearance with aggressive fascias, side skirts, and a cohesive candy apple red paint scheme, aligning with the thematic styling of the OSV lineup. Under the hood, the Intrigue OSV featured an Eaton supercharger integrated into the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, significantly boosting its output to 260 horsepower. Mechanical upgrades included a set of sizable Brembo brakes concealed behind 19-inch wheels, enhancing the sedan's performance capabilities. The interior received Recaro seats, adding a touch of sportiness to the driving experience. Despite the Intrigue OSV's potential to elevate Oldsmobile's image and attract enthusiasts, the OSV project, including this concept, never transitioned beyond the prototype phase. With the discontinuation of Oldsmobile in 2004, the Intrigue OSV remains a testament to the brand's late pursuit of performance and innovation.
