Unveiled at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show, the H3T carried all the DNA of Hummer’s military heritage while offering a more efficient and refined design.

Rugged Design and Practical Features

The H3T’s design emphasized functionality and durability. It featured a distinctive Petrol Blue Metallic and Satin Titanium finish, along with practical innovations like:

  • Side-access doors for easier cargo handling.

  • Drop-down assist steps that doubled as weather-tight storage compartments.

  • A tailgate designed to form a seamless load surface when open, enhancing versatility.

  • A power-operated folding canvas sunroof and drop-down rear window, enabling an open-air driving experience.

Off-Road Capabilities

True to the Hummer name, the H3T excelled in off-road performance. Its wheels-at-the-corners stance, 34-inch tires, and 11.5 inches of ground clearance ensured exceptional capability on rough terrain. The H3T boasted impressive approach and departure angles—51 and 50 degrees respectively—making it a leader in Hummer’s off-road performance standards. A carbon fiber skid plate provided extra protection underneath, reinforcing its durability.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the H3T featured a 350-horsepower turbocharged Vortec 3500 inline 5-cylinder engine, paired with a heavy-duty Hydra-Matic electronically controlled four-speed transmission. This combination delivered both power and reliability for challenging adventures.

Interior with Military Inspiration

The interior of the H3T embraced its rugged roots with military-inspired details like toggle switches, a dash-mounted altimeter, compass, and inclinometer. Nike-designed Sphere seat fabric added a touch of modern style, ensuring comfort and functionality for passengers.
