The 2004 Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon Autodelta was a high-performance prototype revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. This special version of the 156 Sportwagon was prepared by Autodelta, a British-based tuning company (distinct from Alfa Romeo’s former racing department, Autodelta SpA). The vehicle featured a 3.5-liter, 24-valve Alfa V6 engine, which produced an impressive 300hp, though power was sent to the front wheels rather than all-wheel drive. Despite its performance enhancements and sleek design, the 156 Sportwagon Autodelta never progressed beyond the prototype stage, leaving its potential unfulfilled in production.
